Storing Toys With Several Pieces

If you want your kids to pick up their toys, it helps if you provide a designated space for them.  I like using men's shoe boxes from The Container Store.  These containers are clear and have a good size.  These boxes are great for toys that have several pieces to them.  My daughter is starting to read so I have labeled all the containers.  It makes it easier for her to know which toys go in which container.  Having your kid's toys organized and neatly tucked away helps your kids take care of them.  Often times your kid's toys get broken or scratched when they are laying around or shoved in a corner.  Parents complain that their kids have a lot of toys that they never play with.  That is often the case when your kids have too many toys all mixed up and don't even know what they have.  I also recommend baskets for dolls, baby toys and stuffed animals.
