Sparking Creativity for Your Kids

Sparking Creativity for Your Kids

Creating a space for your kids to express themselves without paint getting on the walls is not an easy task.  The first thing I did was try to contain the madness.  I found this 5-Section acrylic tote at The Container Store that was perfect for holding all of my daughters' art supplies.  Before I bought this one, I had them in individual canisters which created a big mess.  With this tote, it's all in one place and very easy for clean-up time! I usually cover her table with white paper and then let her do her thing. She made these beautiful painting of Mommy and Daddy which are framed in her playroom.  I don't frame everything she makes, most of it goes in a keepsake folder.  It's impossible to keep all of your children's artwork but the important thing is to let them create as much as they want.  At times, it's messy but if controlled, it can be magical!

Happy Organizing!
